Assistant Housekeeper

This is a Permanent, Part Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team at Demelza in South East London.

 

You will work 20 hours per week over three days: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

 

As an Assistant Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality housekeeping service to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents and their families.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within the hospice.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of basic hygiene practices to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and colleagues.
  • Working independently and using initiative to complete tasks efficiently, even when working alone.
  • Adapting to a flexible work schedule and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Prioritising workload effectively to meet the needs of the hospice and its residents.
  • Managing and effectively communicating with a team of volunteers to ensure smooth operation of housekeeping tasks.
